Description
Ulmo is a beautiful evergreen tree that can reach a height of up to 40 meters, and its trunk at the base can be as wide as 2 meters in diameter. It appears in the zone between Araucania and Chiloe, especially in the mountain range of the coast and until 700m above sea level. It prefers humid land that are rich in humus. This typical Chilean tree is frequently associated with the Oak, Tepa, Tineo, and Coigue trees.
