Berroco Portfolio vol. 5. 15 patterns. The Portfolio design series is bringing together brilliant independent designers and Berroco's beloved 100% recycled fibers yarns, Berroco Remix and Remix Light. Remix was introduced in 2010, after more than a year in development. Remix is made in French textile mill that use an environmentally friendly garnetting process to recycle clothing and other high quality textiles into yarn. Garnetting is carding process that reduces textiles to a wool fleece-like roving, which is then spun into a yarn that knits up with all the great characteristics of a bouncy of wool yarn. The result is a deliciously tweedy, easy care, all-season yarn. In the Spring of 2017 Berroco added Remix Light, the same great yarn in 2 ply DK weight that is soft enough for baby knits, fine enough for lace, and hardwearing enough to be your next favorite sweater.
